pROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Progress Not Perfection
We support our students' growth and development by allowing them to progress at their own pace. Each student is a unique individual with specific strengths and weaknesses. It is unrealistic to expect all students to achieve academic benchmarks at the same age. We assess our students when they enter our school and this dictates where we start with them with regard to the instruction they receive.
We provide progress monitoring continuously throughout the year. Parents are provided with weekly feedback in the form of GREATNESS Reports.

Comfortable & Flexible
We believe providing our students with individual attention is important to their ultimate academic success. All of our students receive 1:1 attention at some point during each school day. Our Structured Literacy groups are limited to no more than 3 students and in our other academic classes/groups there are 5 or fewer students. Overall, we have a teacher:student ratio of 1:4.

Year-Round Calendar
Our year-round calendar is an example of our commitment to our students’ overall success. We keep students engaged in learning every month throughout a calendar year. Ultimately, our finish line is high school graduation. We view the continuum of learning as a marathon, not a sprint. We are proud of our year-round calendar and believe that it helps our teachers and students continue to be refreshed and ready to teach and learn.
