ga reach goal scholarship

One new Academy GA applicant per year, will receive the REACH-GOAL Scholarship to attend our school. This scholarship is designed to help low-income families access private school education to our awesome school. It provides a scholarship to this one student whose family specific income requirements (see below).

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply for the Reach Goal Scholarship.

• Applicant must reside in Georgia. 
• Applicant must be currently enrolled in and attending a Georgia public school or currently enrolled in a homeschool  program for one academic year. 
• Applicant's family's income must be no more than 2.5 times the federal powerty level, as defined in the income Eligibility Guidelines for the National Lunch Program.
• Applicant must have been accepted and sponsored by a qualified, designated Georgia private school participating with the GA Goal Scholarship Program. 

In order to apply for this scholarship, you must have completed a school Admissions Application no later than January 31st before the new school year in which you wish to begin. In the application, you will indicate your desire to apply for this scholarship and will need to submit the following information/documents:

• Student's most recent report card
• Last 2 years of federal tax returns
• A narrative answering this question, "Why do you want your child to attend The Academy GA?"

As noted above, your family's annual income and household size will deterine the scholarhsip award amount you will receive. Our most recent scholarship recipient actually received $9,000.
