GA Special Needs Scholarships
About the Scholarship
The Academy GA is able to accept the GA Special Needs Scholarship to attend our school. Also known as the SB10 Scholarship, you can go to the GA Department of Education website to learn more about this scholarship. In short, if your child has attended a Georgia public school for at least a year and has an IEP, then he/she receives a scholarship that you can use to attend our specialized school.
Scholarship and Tuition Payments
The total amount of your scholarship is deducted from the school's overall annual tuition amount. The remaining balance is then spread evenly across our 12 month school calendar to generate your monthly tuition payment amounts. You will be provided with a Schedule of Tuition Payments during your admissions process which will outline these payments.
Your Scholarship Amount
The average amount of this scholarship is $7,500 per school year. Your child's IEP and educational needs determine what your specific amount will be. Go to the Eligibility Calculator to determine the amount of your child's scholarship.
